About DialDrops
DialDrops is an independent watch release calendar. We track announced, upcoming and available timepieces from every major manufacturer so collectors know what is coming before it lands — and what it should cost when it does.
Why we built it
Watch release information is scattered across brand press rooms, dealer newsletters, forum threads and social posts, and much of it is wrong by the time it spreads. A date slips, a price is quoted in the wrong currency, a reference number gets one digit off. We built DialDrops to keep one calendar that is checked daily against primary sources, so you are not piecing together a launch date from three contradictory posts.
Who writes here
DialDrops is produced by a small editorial team of long-time collectors. Between us we have owned, serviced and sold across the range this site covers — from $50 Casios to Swiss chronographs — and our writing reflects that hands-on experience rather than rewritten press releases. Articles carry a byline and a publication date, and we revisit guides when specifications, pricing or availability change.
What we cover
Every tracked release gets its own page with pricing, reference number, release date, status and our own editorial analysis. Each brand we cover has a hub page collecting its releases alongside background on the manufacture. Our guides section handles the questions that sit around a purchase: sizing, servicing costs, authentication, value retention and what to actually look for in a category.
How we make money
DialDrops is free to read and funded by display advertising. Some links to marketplaces such as Chrono24 and WatchBox may earn us a commission. Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine which releases we cover, how we rate hype, or what our guides recommend — and we say plainly when a watch is poor value or hard to buy at a sensible price.
